About Orléans

The city of Orléans, regional capital of the Région Centre, located one hour away from Paris by train or car, has radically evolved. It now offers a pleasant living environment to study in good conditions. The old neighbourhoods were valued and are now an animated
setting at day and night. Moreover, it offers a very rich industrial network which allows it to have an unemployment rate under the national average.

Some of Orléans' Festal Activities

Every summer, for 15 days, Orléans'Jazz festival offers many free concerts in the streets, bars and restaurants.

The fêtes Johanniques take place in May to celebrate the liberation of the city by Joan of Arc in 1429. The school (engineering students and staff members) takes part in the traditional procession of May 8th.

The festival de Loire which takes place every two years celebrates the splendour of the river and recalls its fluvial activities.
